Hello all.
After nearly two years reading your postings and travel stories it's time to introduce myself.
I'm Stefan from Vienna in Austria and I'm riding a 2009 wee-strom.
It all began 3 Years ago with a Vespa 125 gts and a trip to Italy. 10 days and a sour butt later it came to my mind that the world is too big for such a little scooter and a man of my age so I decided to get me a bike license and of course a bike big enough to travel all the roads that may come in the future.
While the winter of 2010 I made big plans for the coming year and sponsored Touratech buying all the stuff a sophisticated traveller needs.
Unfortunately I didn't realize that big means also heavy and it was no fun for a newbie to face all the narrow streets and u-turns in the alps.
I wanted to go to Syria via Italy, Greece and Turkey but never made it out of Italy.
But after all, 2 years and 20.000 km later i'm ready for the big adventure.
Currently I work like a horse to get all the money I need for a long trip beginning mid to end of April, lasting several month.
So beware all of you out there and have mercy with me if you see me passing by.
By the way as Vienna is in the heart of Europe some of you may come trough the city on their way heading east. So if you want not get dehydrated don't hesitate to give me a pm and I will gladly show you around and spend you a
if I'm in the city. I live near a Harley Davidson dealer with an enclosed American Restaurant with the best Steaks in Town.
So drive save and live the dream.
Stefan
