Its been very quiet in this thread now for some time. Maybe all are waiting for the new model releases that the different motorbike brands will present in a month or two….

Anyhow - I stumbled into this Youtube review a couple of days ago and it caught my interest. This video is made by a french guy who obviously spends much time in Indonesia and ride many different motorbikes there. This french guy has a lot of videos on YT so it could be worth checking out.

The Hunter Maverick is a australian brand but made in Indonesia. Its a 500 cc paralell twin with similar specs as the Honda CB500X. In Indonesia it is a very affordable bike as bikes, especially big bikes made outside Indonesia are added quite a lot of tax and fees.

A few points worth mentioning, «bule» means «foreigner» in the indonesian language. Its not a negative expression, rather neutral afaik.
I find stuff from Indonesia interesting as it was one of my favorite countries (if not THE favorite) to visit during my RTW trip where I travelled through more than 50 countries. I would very much like to go back and travel more there if I ever get the opportunity….
