Comments:

I was on that border in July 2001. Border is on the road from Irkutsk to Ulaan Bataar. The guards on the border told me that it is no problem now to enter Mongolia by motorcycle. As I had only a single entry visa to Russia, I did not try to cross the border.

I plan to do it in June 2002.
